Terris Chorney joined Blackmont in January 2004. Prior to joining Blackmont, Terris worked with RBC Capital Markets in the firm’s Calgary Corporate Finance practice. His experience includes public equity offerings, equity and debt private placements, and buy- and sell-side advisory transactions. He brings a business and technical background to the group, including five years with Enbridge Pipelines. He is a P. Eng. and holds a B. Sc. (Civil Engineering) from the University of Nebraska, as well as an MBA from the University of Alberta. Terris also has a background in athletics, earning 3 varsity letters in football with the Nebraska Cornhuskers and playing 3 years with the Edmonton Eskimos.

Jeremy joined Blackmont in August 2006, prior thereto, Jeremy spent six years as an associate with the law firm of Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP where he practiced exclusively in the corporate securities department (focused on TSX Venture Exchange and TSX listings, IPOs, AIM listings, M&A transactions and all types of equity financings). In 2003 Jeremy was seconded to the TSX Venture Exchange in Calgary as a corporate finance analyst for a period of four months. Jeremy earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1999.
